On Friday, April 10, 2026, Shogo Omori, CEO of CAEN Inc., gave a lightning talk at "Claude Code Meetup Japan #4 — Claude Code LT Showcase", held at Mercari, Inc. (25F, Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, Minato-ku, Tokyo).
Co-hosted by the AI-Driven Development Study Group and the AI Agent User Association (AIAU), the meetup ran in a hybrid format under the theme "The New Frontier of AI-Driven Development, Opened Up by Autonomous Agents". It was a large-scale event with approximately 250 on-site participants and over 2,000 online participants, featuring 15 lightning talks in total.
Omori's talk, titled "Life Hacks for Claude Code-Driven Development Without Your Brain Snapping in Half", focused on designing the emotional cost of working with AI every day.
He argued that the real bottleneck in AI-driven development is not the performance of the AI itself, but the human brain and mood on the other side of the conversation. Based on that premise, he introduced an approach of redesigning the entire development environment — terminal, font, tone of voice, and audio notifications — in order to soften the relationship with the AI. Concrete examples included using Ghostty as the terminal, the "Wafu Pop" font for legibility and atmosphere, rewriting Claude Code's tone into the "Zundamon" character style, and audio feedback via VOICEVOX × hooks. The talk offered a perspective of designing AI not as "the right counterpart", but as "a counterpart you can live with".
CAEN Inc. continues to practice and share insights on AI-driven product development, primarily through solo and small-team development. For inquiries regarding talks, workshops, or press, please feel free to contact us below.
